New 971 Panamera steering wheel use the new connector


971 steering wheel "PDK paddle" and "Horn" connect to the steering module convert signal to LIN bus ,not direct connect to CLSM like previous porsche models.Need replace the connector and wire harness


Porsche steering wheel upgrade adapter installation guide:

Porsche 991.1 MF steering wheel retrofit success (with Video)

First off, I know there are a few threads about swapping steering wheels. Mostly non MF to non MF or doing a conversion from MF to an SD wheel and vice versa. My story is about retrofitting the new 991.2 MF steering wheel to my 2012.5 991S. Background: I bought my car CPO and I love the specs on my car. I really liked having the carbon MF wheel match my interior. My 991S is a cab, so the heated wheel is a must. But I hated the shifters (never made sense to me), so I got the Techart Paddle shifters. After spending all the $$ I really wanted to believe that I was going to be happy with those Techart shifters, but truth is - those shifters were flimsy, and also obstructed the dashboard view. I have a Xhorse ELV Emulator which tested well on my Mercedes 204. VVDI MB Tool support renew and write ELV and ESL. Here are my review: Received the   Xhorse ELV Emulator  for my Mercedes 204 for a few days. Have used it with   VVDI MB BGA Tool . And the test report, here you go… 1.Successfully used   ELV Emulator in W204: 1). EIS: read data by OBD from EIS/EZS …… OK 2). EIS: get erase password ……. OK 3). password calc.: get key password through calc. process and 1 token used ……OK 4). EIS: save all data of EIS ……. OK 5). EIS: renew EIS/EZS through IR ……. OK 6). EIS: load back saved data ……..
